Virtual Fitting Instructions - Step 1

Hint:Capturing photographs of your feet during the evening or after physical activity allows us to better comprehend the length of your feet at their maximum size.

What you'll need:

  • A piece of white paper
  • A long ruler (preferably metal ruler that starts from 0).

Prepare

Place the ruler against a straight wall. The ruler should be pependicular to the wall. Put a piece of A4 paper underneath to make it easier to read.

Note: Please maintain a standing position during the entire measurement process. Body weight must be on the measured foot!

For accurate sizing, the photos must be taken using the cm side of the ruler. The inch side doesn’t provide the precision needed for figure skating boots.

1: Place your foot on top of the ruler with your toe on the ruler, and the back of the ruler should be under the center of your heel.
2: Make sure your foot is straight from heel to toe and your heel lightly touches the wall.

Now let's take some photos!

Photo 1 - 4 : The photos need to be taken from top of the paper to avoid paralox error. Make sure your toes are positioned directly on the ruler and that the numbers are clearly visible.

  1. Please take photos of both your left and right feet placed on a ruler, with majority of the body weight on the foot without bending the knees.
  2. Next, bend your knee into a gliding position so there is only light pressure on the heel. In this position, please take another two photos.

If you have trouble zooming in with your camera, ask someone to help you.

Photo 5 : Take a photo of the beginning part of the ruler.

Good job! Now just upload the 5 photos you took :)
